Mansueto Office: The Belden-Stratford Renovation & Restoration

Built in the 1920s, The Belden-Stratford has seen many renovations in its day. However, its latest renovation pays faithful homage to the 17-story building’s original Beaux Arts architecture.

As construction manager, Bulley & Andrews was brought on early to provide preconstruction services, then execute the renovation and restoration. B&A’s historical expertise and track record of aligning design visions with construction costs made them an ideal partner.

The project uncovered the building’s hidden architectural elements while updating functionality and providing premium apartment units and amenities for today’s lifestyle.

The 285,000 sq. ft. adaptive reuse project includes 297 apartment units with a mix of studios, one and two bedroom units, lobby, fitness center, party room and roof deck. The project also includes window replacement.
